The former residential palace of Maharaja Ganga Singh, The Laxmi Niwas Palace is a magnificent red sandstone structure built in the Indo-Saracenic style. Part of Lallgarh Complex the palace was designed by the British architect, Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob in the year 1902. Today Laxmi Niwas Palace is a luxury heritage hotel owned by Golden Triangle Fort & Palace Private Ltd. The magnificent corridors, beautiful centre courtyard with stone Jharokhas, exquisite filigree and lattice works, lavish suites and rooms, well decorated trophy room, spacious halls of Gulab Mahal, Swarna Mahal with its pure gold wall paintings and a gilded carved woodwork ceiling, Neel Mahal and a beautiful garden at the back drop of the palace makes The Laxmi Niwas Palace one of the most picturesque palaces of the sub-continent.
