The magnificent Fort Rajwada lies in the midst of the great Indian Thar Desert facing the Sonar Quila, fortress of Jaisalmer. Created in tune with the ancient Vedic science of ‘Vaastu,’ this yellow sandstone hotel is set amidst gardens on a six-acre plot. Original Jharokhas (balconies) with intricate carvings, grand chhatri (canopy), jalis (latticed screens) as old as 450 years and a huge Rajasthani mural adorns the walls of the grand lobby of Fort Rajwada.
